An eagle isn't taught to fly by watching the mother's wings as she hovers over the nest. An eagle learns to fly by being pushed from the nest, being caught and pushed again until the eagle learns to fly.
At CCJHS, we want to push students to the edge of learning. We want our students to fall over the edge until they are able to fly on their own...creating their own personalized path of learning based on their own data knowledge. #CCJHSEaglePride means a student owning their own learning.

December 4th: Another Great Day in Asia!
Today, we presented to Mrs. Hudson's. It was a terrific day of teaching and learning. Ms. Sloan came to watch and to help. She did a great job reading about Nian. Cecily's grandparents came to visit. Enjoy looking at the greatness!
Everybody worked so hard! Students and teachers. I had fun teaching everyone about the culture of Asia. I think that all class had fun while they learned about Asia too. Anna
I am sad and i am happy.I'm happy because we are finished teaching all those classes. I'm sad because we are about to leave ASIA, I'm leaving my friends and what i'm really sad about is i'm leaving my favorite teacher Mrs.BELINDA. Tavey
