Alex is in Europe for the next 2 weeks. She is writing to us through a google slides journal - pictures, details, questions - awesome! We enjoy reading about her travels, learning about the things that she is learning and seeing her having a great time with her family.
Here is a place for her peers to write. Alex wants to know what is going on during the day, she doesn't want to miss out on anything. What can you share with her? You know that she loves details. Please keep her up to date with our class.

4/20/16 Alex - Your journal is great. We hung it up outside of Mrs. Shelby's door so that everyone could enjoy it. It sounds like the plane ride was long and exhausting! LOVE the pictures of the church and organ - the cheese made me laugh! We are still working on graphing in class. Mack is almost done with her first page at Mr. Ronny's station. Mr. Ronny told us scary stories in fact they were real and not very scary. Mack is almost finished with her book called Charlotte's Web.

ReplyDeleteOliver, thank you for your message. We are having a good vacation. Dad makes everywhere we go a classroom...I'm learning way too much for a vaca(vacation), but it is lots of fun. Everyone pretty much speaks Dutch and English. It has been very easy to speak to people. Bathrooms are called toilets, and you have to pay to use them. Weird, huh? Alex V.

ReplyDeleteAshlyn, It looks beautiful.....there are many farms throughout the countryside with many, many cows and sheep. All of the houses have small gardens with tulips and other bloom flowers.
